From idea to company
QC Renewable Energy was born from the shared vision of a diverse group of students from Sweden and East Africa, who met at Dalarna University. United with a passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a positive impact, they founded QC Renewable Energy with the aim of promoting sustainability and energy efficiency on a global scale.
The name “QC” stands for Qurac, which refers to the Acacia tortilis tree, a symbol of resilience and sustainability. This tree, native to North, East, and South Africa, embodies the challenges and opportunities in sustainable resource management, reflecting our commitment to creating lasting, positive change.
We believe in the power of collaboration. By building bridges between people and nations, we foster a global community committed to sustainable energy.
